Catching Some of the "old" of Old Town Alexandria (Part I)

Stuck around in Old Town Alexandria after having a lunch meeting. As I walked around I figured I would try to take pictures of some of the "old" aspects of Old Town and catching some of the "newness" as well. Hope you enjoy! Please check out the posts coming soon after as well - this will be I of III. All black and white!

Highlights of the Week

Went to Theodore Roosevelt island in DC and took some photos. Also, I was up in NYC with Christina visiting her friend from grad-school who recently had a baby!

Have All Your Ducks In A Row?

Too good to pass up this shot and the next

Note:
I am not obsessed with ducks! Just so happens that the two parks I have been to lately have both had ducks in site...and they are too good to pass up taking photos of!

Baby Lucy Zaslow Pope!

It's OCTOBER?!

Took some shots today...was nice to be back in the photography zone today! Christina and I stopped at this cool park right near Reagan Airport where the planes fly right over head. Also, there was a decent amount of wildlife around - so I caught the wingspans and flights of both!

Let me know what you think!

Liked this shot of these two ducks heading out to visit the other two ducks. I waited to catch the blue feathers of the male duck on the rock - really cool blue color.

Nothing like seeing water droplets on a duck's feathers.

It's fun waiting for a bird to spread its wings...

...and just as fun to catch it twice!

My favorite plane shot of the day.

What a cute couple.

Seemed like a wagon wheel of sorts...though definitely not a wagon wheel.

Hope you enjoyed!
