Nick is a great friend of mine who has been a worship leader for a great church in Northern Virginia (McLean Bible Church) and works as the worship director for The Gathering - the college ministry. He has so much talent and I can honestly say he is just starting to "break the ice" when it comes to writing and making music. I know he has a lot stored up on his macbook from recording himself, but I am excited to hear more songs like this once he starts recording a few more. Nick has one of the best voices around...it's true! He studied music at Liberty University, is an awesome guy, and as you are about to find out, a very talented musician.

Catching Some of the "old" of Old Town Alexandria (Part I)

Stuck around in Old Town Alexandria after having a lunch meeting. As I walked around I figured I would try to take pictures of some of the "old" aspects of Old Town and catching some of the "newness" as well. Hope you enjoy! Washington DC's Greatest Weakness

In lieu of the rainy Monday that we have here today in the Northern Virginia area, I decided to take a moment to find the pictures I took with my phone from back in February, both here in VA and also in NY.

This was the second major storm in a short period of time. I had learned that Virginia and the capitol basically shut down. And by basically, I mean literally. Now granted, there was a substantial amount of snow, but I'll have you know that NY was also hit very hard...and the pictures here are worth a thousand words.
